Job Summary

Automation Test Engineer using Selenium and Jmeter, your primary responsibility will be to design and implement automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software products. You will work closely with the development team to identify and create automated test cases, and with the QA team to ensure the overall quality of the product.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium and JMeter to ensure maximum software coverage.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to align test cases with product requirements and user stories.
• Create and execute test plans and test cases, identify defects, and work with the team to prioritize and resolve them.
• Develop and maintain test frameworks, tools, and processes to improve automation efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of automated test suites for various projects.
• Work with the QA team to ensure consistency in testing practices and procedures across the organization.
• Mentor and train junior automation engineers, guiding them in best practices and providing feedback on their work.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of automated tests, making necessary improvements and adjustments.

Desired Key Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, including 3+ years in automation testing using Selenium (Java) and JMeter.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in software automation testing, with expertise in Object-Oriented Automation Test Suite Creation.
• Experience with TDD (Test-Driven Development), BDD (Behavior-Driven Development), and API testing is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium frameworks such as Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, and Hybrid frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Page Object Model (POM), TestNG implementation, Java, and SQL queries.
• Experience in test automation reporting layers.
• Ability to develop detailed test strategies and test plans at both functional and system levels.
• Expertise in creating test designs, processes, cases, and data, with a focus on in-sprint automation for planned user stories.
• Capability to understand complex product architectures and manage testing activities efficiently.
• Ensure all testing work adheres to defined standards and procedures.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts is an added advantage.
